Sponsor a Horse

  • Our wonderful horse sponsors help us through the year with tax-deductible donations towards the cost of maintaining one horse. Sponsors may choose from a list of horses, and their donations will be set aside exclusively for their care.

  • It costs $15,400 a year at minimum for the care and maintenance of each of Paradise Valley’s horses. This includes hay, feed, shoeing, shavings, and board. This does not include veterinary bills or regular checkups.

  • If you would like to donate to the cost of shoeing a horse, it costs $175 every six weeks.

  • Hay and feed are essential to keeping Paradise Valley horses fed and happy. To sponsor a horse via hay, the cost is $350 per month. The price is $150 per month to sponsor feed, and the fee is $500 to support both.

Sponsor a Rider

  • Riding is the most important of the Paradise Valley United experience, and because we believe in the power of riding and equine therapy, another way to donate is by sponsoring a rider. You can sponsor an individual rider you know or allow Paradise Valley to choose the worthy rider.

  • The cost to sponsor a ride for six months with a weekly riding lesson is $4,940 total, with each lesson costing $190.

  • It costs $7,800 to sponsor a ride for one year with a discounted rider rate of $150 per lesson each week.

  • If you would like to sponsor a rider at a specific competition, the cost is dependent on the show and ranges from $1,200.

Planned Giving

  • In addition to considering a cash gift or pledge, we invite you to provide for the future of Paradise Valley United through a gift in a will or other estate plans. These bequests, charitable giving of real estate, and other planned gifts play an important role in the success of Paradise Valley, and your planned gift will leave a legacy.
