Doty is a 12-year-old Pitbull-Dalmatian mix that was dumped at the Carson shelter. When they first saw her, she couldn’t walk and was hit so hard in the face she lost sight in one of her eyes. Doty also had bumps all over her skin that the shelter diagnosed as untreated skin cancer. Susan and Annette decided that even if she was at the end of her life, they wanted to have her humanely euthanized instead of letting her die in the shelter. They took her home and are happy to announce that after they administered Rapid Response and took her to the vet for surgery, Doty is doing quite well and enjoying her life as a senior dog.
