Little Lady's owner brought her to the stable but then abandoned her when she couldn't pay the boarding fees. The owner took all the horse's things and left Little Lady there. Sadly, abandonment is common when owners cannot afford the care. Many of these ponies end up in the kill pen, but instead, Little Lady became a part of the Paradise Valley family.
